We’re thrilled to share that our 2025 fundraising event, Light Up the Future, exceeded all expectations, raising just under $60,000! This allowed the foundation to donate an amazing $75,000 to the district to help fund the Stormonth Lights & Sound project.
Over 160 parents and supporters gathered on Friday, March 7, at the beautiful Schlitz Audubon Nature Center for a fun night out in support of the Fox Point – Bayside Educational Foundation and district initiatives. Guests enjoyed delicious small bites from All Occasions Catering, stunning florals donated by Sendik’s Home, casino gaming of Classic Casino for raffle prizes, and a silent auction filled with one-of-a-kind items and experiences from local businesses.
One of the evening’s highlights was a sneak peek performance by the cast of Stormonth Elementary’s Newsies musical. The performance beautifully tied together one of this year’s fundraising focuses: the Stormonth Sound & Lights Project, which will modernize outdated equipment in the Stormonth gymnasium to create a more inclusive, engaging space for student assemblies and performances, benefiting students on and off the stage for years to come.

Expansion of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Arts in Community Education (ACE) Program to include K5 and 1st grade

Continued investment in STEAM programming, including dynamic field trips and cutting-edge technology

Updated art equipment to support a growing visual arts curriculum at Bayside Middle School

Ongoing support for the Youth Frontiers’ Courage Retreat for all 7th grade students
