In lieu of hosting Rolling on the Green in 2022, the Educational Foundation extended a different kind of invitation to our neighbors and supporters.
Instead of inviting our community to our casino-themed event, we invited local businesses and families to directly fund ambitious new programs that are on the horizon in our district as sponsor of our current initiative Encouraging Inclusive Programming.
The key word is programming!
We were all inspired by our playground project that, with the purchase of new equipment and facilities, created a more inclusive community.
Expanding on those ideals, we are focusing on encouraging interesting, innovative and inclusive programming. We believe supporting programming is always a rewarding effort to mobilize significant change among our student body, future leaders and community. And the funding needed to introduce such initiatives is an unmet need that we, through collective generosity, can fulfill.
The response to this sponsorship drive has been tremendous! Even without an event at the center, our community has stepped in to ensure the groundwork for the vision for more inclusive programming is laid.
All donated funds will directly support programs and strategies that encourage new ways of thinking, growing and thriving at both the elementary and middle school levels, such as motor labs for early education, STEAM clubs aimed at inspiring our students, advancing the maker spaces at both schools with additional high tech equipment, and new programs and partnerships.
